ABOUT

WELCOME.

Genevieve Rae is a facilitator and artist working with textiles, nature, community, and how these interconnect. She is the founder of Micro Mill and has hosted workshops, organised external facilitators to teach skills, and mobilised fundraising activations in public space. Genevieve’s textile arts practice explores multispecies philosophy through large tapestries woven outdoors, incorporating plant matter from the surrounding ecosystem. She also creates functional and wearable items, endeavouring to leave minimal textile waste in her wake.

Genevieve teaches Weaving with Weeds workshops with the Micro Mill and in support of other arts kaupapa, please be in touch if you are interested in attending/booking a workshop for your rōpu.
